The late Bob Lum was an amazingly skilled knifemaker with a unique talent for adapting traditional Asian blade patterns to modern custom and production knives. The true pioneer of the ubiquitous Americanized tanto blade pattern, he was also one of Spyderco’s most popular design collaborators. One of his best-known designs was his Chinese Folder, which was inspired by the “Shilin Cutter”—an iconic ethnic folding knife with a distinctive “bamboo-leaf-shaped” blade.
This Exclusive version of the Lum Chinese Folder features a VG10 blade steel and Pink G-10 handle scales.
Not to be outdone, the distinctive handle of this knife features textured Pink G-10 scales. To ensure ease of carry and keep the knife poised for instant access, the handle includes a polished stainless steel pocket clip that can be configured for right-side tip-up or tip-down carry.
