Hey,
There is no space on the handle for the button as the blade comes up too high when closed. So if there was a button there, the blade would hit it when closed.
Hello there my name is Tamas Janta, and I’m interested in customizing my Buck 417 Budgie Knife. Iam wondering if it’s possible to customize the backplate of this knife to something similar you posted on IG on June 30th. The Spyderco McBee with HV blue and purple tribal pattern. And also the screws to be the same blue color. Please let me know if that is possible and how much would that be, thank you very much.

Yup…just did 4 variations: Dirty Bronze, Beadblast Blue, Grey, and Teal w/titanium screws
